The following is a few of the many projects supported by the Green Lake Rotary both locally and Internationally.

Authentic Voices of America

One way in which Green Lake Rotary is helping others is by supporting Authentic Voices of America that provides young people who have severe speech impairments the opportunity to enhance their community participation by developing communication skills using augmentative devices.

Red Geranium Project

Each year the Green Lake Rotary Club along with the Green Lake Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts salute our fallen soldiers with our Red Geranium Project. Prior to Memorial Day the Scouts and Rotarians plant over a hundred Red Geranium's into single pots. Then on Memorial Day following a program at the school honoring those who have served and are currently serving in our Armed Forces a processional take place to the Dartford and Blufton Cemeteries. Here a potted Red Geranium is placed at each service personnel's gravesite in honor of their service to our country.

Toys For Iraq

Each week we collect toys and money for shipping to send toys to our soldiers serving in Iraq. In return the soldiers give these toys to the children of Iraq. It helps those serving to gain the trust of the children and their parents. Our goal in this campaign is to support our soldiers in their mission any way we can.
